Career Clusters

South Dakota recognizes 16 career clusters, or broad career fields. Students are encouraged to study the clusters early in their high school experience, and to find one that matches their skills and interests. The choice of a career cluster provides a framework for a student's academic experience. The process engages students, parents and educators.
