Connections

Students who feel connected - to teachers, to parents, to their future plans - tend to have a more positive, successful high school experience. Schools can do all sorts of things to create these connections, including promoting parental involvement and service learning. A number of South Dakota schools have had success with implementing a Teachers as Advisors program.
