Implementation

School districts across South Dakota have adopted pieces of the High School 2025 framework. In Vermillion, each student has a personal learning plan and a teacher-advisor. In Emery, seniors complete a capstone experience. No matter where it is implemented, High School 2025 calls for career exploration early on, leading to rigorous junior and senior years. Students plan their academic careers based on individual interests and skills -- resulting in students who are engaged and understand the connection between high school and their future careers.
